Japanese macaques, commonly known as snow monkeys, are found in the wild only in Japan.

They are not the cutest Primates as adults, but the newborns look sweet.  They do not get very large.  Only about 2 Feet from head to toe.

Japanese Macaques, are sometimes referred to as Snow Monkeys, because they are the only non human primate that can survive in harsh winter colds.  The macaque can cope with temperatures as low as -20°C.  Now that is Beyond Cold.
