Baby Platypus are amazing and somewhat bizarre looking animals. The are classified as mammals, have a duck bill, lay eggs, have a beavers tail, are otter footed, and are one of the only venomous mammals. Oddly cute as babies though!

they are precious! im gonna convience my mother to get me one! did you know that they are the only mammals that lay eggs? or that baby platapuses are called buggles, which are commanly mistaken as a pug beagle hybrid, which i own. i also have a beitiful yellow lab pitbull hybrid which is an apsolutly gorgeous dog named abbie!!! well gtg! bye!

They are really cute… as they are, in nature. Amy think a litlle. It is a crime to keep these animals away from where they belong. Just keep your precious dog and forget the wild creatures. We can not be so selfish. Just because we adore them, it doesn’t gives us the right to keep them away from their happiness.

They are sooo cute! But you would probably like to know the platypus is not the only venomous mammal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venomous_mammals) and not the only mammals who lay eggs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monotreme) although both are VERY rare. They sure are unique little guys! And I think they make adorable babies! ^.^
